Shipping & Pick Up Policies
Pick-up - If you live in Southern Ontario, you can select curb side pick up as your shipping option, rather than have it shipped. Pick up is by appointment only, between 9am & 5pm, Monday to Friday.
We will send you an email notification when your order is ready. When you receive the email, call us to schedule a pick up appointment. Your door will remain assembled for pick up unless you indicate otherwise. You must pick up your order within 1 week of notification, or storage fees will apply. If the order is not picked up within 2 months, we will consider the property abandoned and reserve the right to sell, dispose of, or use any such products in any way we choose, without refund.
If you are picking up a door, please bring packing blankets or other materials to ensure the safe transit of the door. We are not responsible for the order once it leaves our premises.
Shipping - We ship our products anywhere within Canada and the Continental United States. Your shipping cost will be calculated during checkout, prior to payment. Please contact us prior to ordering if you live in a remote area, to determine if there is a supplemental shipping charge. If you live outside North America, please contact us to see if we can ship to your area.
You will receive an email with a tracking number as soon as your order has shipped.
Signature required - Packages are usually shipped requiring a signature; you are responsible for signing for your package or ensuring other arrangements with the company Viba has contracted to ship your product to you.
Doors are shipped unassembled.
Couriers - As usual with any courier, should you observe damage to the outer packaging, please indicate it when you sign for the shipment Take pictures of the damage and keep the box(s), then and contact us immediately. If there is
All items must be inspected on delivery for shipping damage. In the unlikely event that you find the product to be damaged or components missing, please notify us within 2 business days. Include pictures of the damage.
We will not be responsible for any order:
• damaged in shipping and unreported
• moved from the original shipping location
• shipped to a job site
• shipped to third party
Shipping Times - Standard barn door hardware orders usually ship within 3-5 days.
Barn door production times are estimates and may vary. The current production times are noted on the website. If you have ordered barn door hardware and a custom door, they will be shipped together. Please do not schedule your installation until you have received your order.
Once dispatched, shipping within North America can take from 2-7 days. If you need your order by a specific date, please contact us. If there are any delays with your shipment, we will contact you immediately
Shipping Address
Couriers require a physical (street) address for delivery. Please do not use a Post Office Box, as couriers cannot deliver to them.
If you need to make changes to your delivery address, please contact us immediately. If you contact us after your order has shipped we will do our best to have your delivery re-routed, but cannot guarantee delivery. You will be charged for any re-routing fees charged by the courier.
Failing to sign for a package.
Doors are shipped FOB Mississauga. Packages are often shipped requiring a signature; you are responsible for signing for your package or ensuring other arrangements with the company Viba has contracted to ship your product to you. If you fail to sign for your shipment or refuse to pick your shipment up you will be charged for the entire price of the door, taxes and shipping, along with any disposal fees the courier company may charge.
