We build our doors to order—that means we’re able to make custom sizes to fit our client’s specific needs. Occasionally, we’re asked to build big barn doors. Really big barn doors.

This recent project was for a local client. They were looking for a solution to add a closet where there was none - across an 18-foot wide wall. The solution was a 3 door bypass system that allowed them to put in a closet without having to do massive amounts of drywall work.

Big barn doors are the perfect way to provide privacy in open-concept homes and the style can be customized to match the current aesthetic of your home. This sliding door was installed so our clients could close off the kitchen from the rest of the main living areas.

Another interesting application is closing off a space with corner barn doors. These large panels fit together perfectly to provide privacy for a study area, but can also be easily opened for a more spacious look.
