Measurements for Your Custom Barn Door
We pride ourselves on building high-quality custom barn doors that fit our client’s specific needs. We also work hard to make the ordering process simple and straightforward.
When measuring your space for a single custom barn door, the basic rule is that you need the same amount of wall space as the width of the door itself. For example, if you want to install a 40-inch wide door, you’ll need to have at least 40 inches of wall to the left or right. It’s also important to note any obstructions on the wall. Thermostats could affect the ability of your door to close and can be relocated, as will electrical outlets.
You’ll need to provide 6 different measurements when ordering your custom barn door and hardware. Please make sure all measurements are in inches.

Did you know that we offer a variety of custom barn door options? You can have one large door that opens to the left or right, two smaller doors that close in the middle or a bypass or multi-pass system where doors roll in front of one another. |
