Unique Ways to Incorporate a Barn Door in Your Home
We love seeing how our customers use their barn doors in interesting ways throughout their home. Below are a few customer pictures showing how a Viba door has been installed for a specific function but also complements their home decor.
Hide Appliances or Storage Areas
This custom door was used in the kitchen to hide the oven when not in use. Since kitchens have become a gathering point in many homes, more and more people are using sliding doors in this space.
In this instance, a customer wanted a door to the entrance of their study but also wanted a way to hide the built-in shelving. Our custom made barn door was the perfect solution.
Delineate Space
This oversized door can connect two living spaces or be closed to provide privacy in either room. The finishes were picked to blend into the existing wall colour.
Similarly, this barn door is wide enough to not disrupt the flow into the kitchen, but can also be closed for formal events or when you want to restrict access to the food prep area.
Entrance Challenges
For a remodel, a client was looking for a unique way to maximize space inside the room. Instead of installing a door in the wall and disrupting the area inside, we custom crafted two sliding doors that make up the corner of the room.
Sliding barn doors can be the perfect solution for unique design challenges in your home. Since we custom make every order, we can tailor your door to fit your specific needs.
