A Viba Barn Door is extremely low maintenance. We take the time to construct a quality product, using only the best materials, that will require minimal care once installed.

We’ve spent years testing different finishing products to find the best stains and finishes. After using a variety of different brands, we believe Saman stains and Target Coatings EMTECH finishes are the best. To achieve an even, long-lasting protective coating, we prime all of our doors and use the new FUJI sprayer to ensure a complete cover.

The barn door colour should stay fresh and vibrant and does not require any stringent cleaners, waxes or polish. A simple dusting once in a while is all that’s required to keep your doors looking great.

Another thing that makes Viba Barn Doors extremely low maintenance is our high-quality hardware. Other manufacturers use metal wheels on metal rails that need to be lubricated often, or they will rust and wear, increasing vibrations which can cause the hardware to become noisy.

Viba Barn Doors uses unique nylon wheels that are rugged and durable, allowing for smooth opening and closing for years to come. They don’t require any lubrication or complex maintenance, only periodically wiping down the hardware with a damp towel to remove any dust or debris.

We've been building custom barn doors since 2013. All of our wood is sustainably sourced from the Kitchener-Waterloo area and our doors are constructed at our workshop in Mississauga.
