In the past, some people have had concerns that a sliding barn door cannot be used for a bathroom; however, they provide just as much privacy as a traditional swing door. 

Privacy
There are a variety of handles that can be used on a barn door. When using sliding doors for your bathroom, just make sure to also include a privacy latch to your order. Just like on a swing doors, privacy latches are installed on the bathroom-facing side of your door to provide privacy.
